their argument against this is something along the lines of - "well maybe more people will use the search engine if they get to earn BAT from it", which is a weak argument. however, when they show a BAT rewards user an ad, they have to share a portion of the revenue with them (a 70/30 split i believe.) this means that brave will have no incentive to increase opt-in rates for BAT rewards because they will actually LOSE a portion of revenue by having to rev share with more rewards users. almost none of the remaining BAT whales that i know are bullish on this coin anymore for many reasons, some of the main ones being these:īrave search ads - when bat rewards launch for the search engine brave will receive 100% of the revenue from the ad when it's shown to a user that isn't opted into rewards. long term holders are dumping like crazy and many others are waiting for the next pump so they can get their exit. of all the years i have been holding BAT, i have NEVER seen the BAT community sentiment this bad. the recent "state of the bat" post that brave put out really highlights how little they seem to care about adding new utility for BAT. BAT is now out of the top 100 and continues to fall further down in the rankings.
